Lent!

This morning, I went to church to go to mass for lent. Lent is a catholic "tradition" I guess, but during lent you have to give up something that is a bad habbit for you or something that you are addicted to. For instance a lot of people give up smoking, drinking, fast food, pop, candy, etc. I decided to try and have a better attitude about things and watch my language a little more. Lent last for forty days. And everyone keeps asking what is on my forhead, it is black ashs in the sign of the cross. Lent ends on easter and till then we can not eat meat on fridays, we are supposed to eat fish. Most little kids do not have to give up anything for lent and are allowed to eat meat on fridays.
